File values, not the in-game damage number. The files store a damage multiplier, a speed multiplier and each damage type's share; the number the game shows is worked out by game code from level, rarity and attributes, and is not in the files, so no damage or DPS figure is printed here. The server files carry no English names either: names are the game client's own English item names (client build 1267041) or a confirmed match, and only the 740 items with one are listed; the other 8 rows are counted above, not listed.

Damage

Showing 294 of 294 weapons

Damage and Power are the wiki's own {{Weapon Stats}} formula evaluated at each weapon's required level. Damage adds 10% per damage perk; bows and staves have Power instead, which ignores perks — a different number, so it gets its own bar, column and sort and is never ranked against Damage. The wiki notes these figures are not updated post Wake of Water, so treat them as estimates. Rarity (Legendary, Epic, Rare …) is the game's own, read from the Enshrouded 1.0 item files.

How weapon damage & scaling works

Weapon damage in Enshrouded reads an attribute: Dexterity for bows and daggers (54 of the 60 daggers; the other six read Strength) and throwing weapons, Strength for the one- and two-handed melee families, Intelligence for wands and staves (1.0 files). Attribute points in another stat do not feed that weapon's damage.

Each weapon page names the attribute its row reads.

"Legendary" here is the game's own rarity: the item files of Enshrouded 1.0 give every weapon one of five rarities, and 171 of the 283 weapons in this catalog that we matched to those files are listed as Legendary (the others: 76 Common, 23 Epic, 8 Rare, 5 Uncommon). 18 are always Legendary; 153 can drop as Legendary, because their rows roll the rarity when the weapon is generated. Every 1.0 weapon, whatever its rarity, has five perk slots.

The legendary hub lists both groups with their level, perks and the source the wiki gave before 1.0.

Weapon tier list — slot priority

Our editorial slot rating, not a game stat. S = the families most builds on this site use. A = strong for specific builds. B = niche / situational. "Why pick it" gives what the 1.0 files store for the family.

Which weapon should you use?

If you want...Best weapon typeWhy
Solo single-target boss DPSBow + LongbowRanged, so you stay out of melee reach. A bow reads Dexterity and stores a ×0.5 multiplier; the arrow you load carries the damage type (1.0 files).
AoE trash clears + Shroud wavesTwo-handed Greatsword / HammerTwo-handed weapons store ×1.5 damage at 0.78 s attack time (1.0 files). The Whirlwind Crescendo skill adds, per its game text, a whirl attack at the end of a two-handed attack chain.
Group tanking in heavy plateOne-handed Sword + ShieldA shield has its own slot in the files, and a parry fills the enemy's stun bar by the shield's parry value (game text). The files say nothing about aggro, so we make no tanking claim.
Burst caster / AoE wizardStaff (Eternal Fire / Ice)A staff reads Intelligence and stores ×0.5; the equipped spell sets the damage type. An Eternal spell, per its game text, does not deplete Spell Charges per use.
Hybrid Battlemage (plate + cast)Wand + One-handed SwordA wand sits in the mid-range weapon slot and a sword in the melee slot (1.0 files), so you can carry both. Whether that suits a build is our opinion.
Anti-air vs Banshees + drakesBow + Explosive ArrowsSee the anti-air guide: the Fell Banshee takes extra Fire in the 1.0 files, and Grounding Hook is a skill on the tree. 'Consensus pick' is not something we can show.

Weapons FAQ

What is the best weapon in Enshrouded?
There's no single best weapon — the 1.0 files hold 506 named weapons in 12 families, and this catalog documents 294. The strongest pick depends on the attribute you invest in (Strength, Dexterity or Intelligence) and the skills you take. The files store damage multipliers and damage-type shares, not the number the game shows, so we do not rank by damage. Our slot rating (Bows, one-handed swords and staves S-tier) is an editorial call about how often builds reach for a family, not a game stat.
How many weapons are in Enshrouded?
The Enshrouded 1.0 files hold 506 named weapons. This catalog documents 294 of them across 12 categories: Daggers, one- and two-handed Swords, Axes and Clubs, Hammers, Bows, Wands, Staves and Throwing Weapons. 171 of them are listed as Legendary in the 1.0 files (18 always Legendary, 153 that can drop as Legendary) and are in the legendary hub.
How do you get legendary weapons in Enshrouded?
Each weapon's page gives the source the wiki lists for it (pre-1.0), and the 1.0 files name one for almost none (1 of the 280 wiki weapons we checked). We therefore don't state one drop rule for all of them. What the files do show: every 1.0 weapon has five perk slots, whatever its rarity, and 171 of the 283 weapons we matched to the 1.0 files are listed as Legendary there (18 fixed, 153 with a rarity rolled at drop).
What's the best weapon for a beginner in Enshrouded?
Our pick, as an opinion rather than a game fact: a bow is the most forgiving starter because it lets you learn enemy patterns at range. A one-handed sword with a shield is the usual melee start, and a wand the usual spell start. They sit in the Ranger, Warrior and Mage areas of the skill tree.
Can you dual-wield in Enshrouded?
We can't confirm it. In the 1.0 item files every dagger, sword, axe, club and hammer sits in the same melee weapon slot, wands and throwing weapons share a mid-range slot, bows and staves a ranged slot, and shields have their own slot; nothing in them describes wielding two melee weapons. How the equipment screen treats a second weapon is game code we cannot read, so this page makes no dual-wield claim.
What's the highest-level weapon in Enshrouded?
In Enshrouded 1.0 the player level cap is 50 and gear reaches level 55 when fully upgraded (1.0 game files). Weapon item levels in the files run up to 55; the legendary hub lists the Legendary-rarity weapons with their levels.
