Best Enshrouded Ranger Builds

Marksman first (universal bow-damage bump), then DEX pips to scale. Multi-Shot + Spread + Trigger form the core damage chain — pick by Level 20. Add Ricochets + Rebound II for ammo efficiency in sustained fights (Bowmaster).

For burst variant (Sniper), prioritise crit-on-headshot mods + Eagle Eye instead. Universal anti-air: Grounding Hook is mandatory if you fight Banshees or drakes — see the anti-air guide.

Endgame: Multi-Shot Trigger transforms volley DPS; Rebound II makes ammo free.

Bow is the primary — pick highest-tier longbow with crit-on-headshot + stamina-on-kill mods. Crossbow trades fire rate for damage — viable for Sniper but kills Multi-Shot synergy (skip). For melee backup in tight corridors, daggers or a one-hand sword.

Throwing weapons cover the moments Multi-Shot is off cooldown. Endgame BiS: any legendary longbow with Multi-Shot affinity from Kindlewastes / Veilwater chests.

Light hide Ranged Armor with stamina-regen + DEX bonuses. Heavy plate halves your mobility and kills the kite loop — never wear it. For Tank Ranger variants, swap one piece to medium armor for the +HP without losing too much stamina.

Endgame sets: Hunter's Set (full DEX + stamina), Ranger's Lightfoot variant for extra dodge distance.

Add Fire Resistance gear for Kindlewastes content; Magic Resistance for Veilwater.

Stamina-regen tea is mandatory — Ranger lives on stamina (drawing, dodging, Multi-Shot, jumping). Pair with DEX-boost stew for burst windows + crit-chance dish for boss fights. Desert Stomach (Survivor tree) unlocks an extra food slot for a 3rd buff.

Bring 3+ stamina potions for emergency multi-shot spam.

Arrows: explosive arrows for grouped airborne enemies, piercing arrows for boss DPS, regular arrows for everything else.

Open at max range. Multi Shot + Spread on tight packs, single-charged shot on single targets. Use terrain — Updraft + Glider lets you stay airborne while reloading.

For boss fights: pre-charge a Sniper headshot at fight start, dodge-roll into the boss's blind side, headshot again on every telegraph. Never melee an elite without a backup escape skill — Ranger HP pools are shallow.

Track your stamina bar like a Mage tracks mana; one missed Multi Shot leaves you empty.
