Best Enshrouded Builds for 1.0

What is the strongest build in Enshrouded 1.0?

The strongest Enshrouded 1.0 build on our measure is the Wand Archmage: its skill points buy +60% always-on damage for Reaper's Wand (Thunder 3, Wand Mastery 3 and Mage Apprentice 3) and +6% crit chance, on 65 points at level 35. The Necromancer Glass Cannon (67 points) and Endgame Meta (212 points) reach the same +60% but spend more points to get there.

How we rank: the 1.0 game files hold no damage number for a weapon, so there is no DPS to compare. They do hold every skill node's effect, so each build is scored by the damage bonuses its nodes add to its own weapon all the time — sneak, backstab, skill-shot and per-enemy bonuses left out, crit chance shown beside it. Bonuses are added up; the files do not say how the game stacks them. Ties go to more crit, then fewer skill points.

Best build by what you play

    Cons

    • needs level 25 and 39 skill points
    • no Constitution points — the tree adds no health

    Pros

    • 9 Constitution points
    • +24% armour from Heavy/Shiny Plates

Changes since 1.0 (released ): — every build rebuilt node by node on the 1.0 skill tree; the hand-set S/A/B grades dropped (no 1.0 basis) · — Wand Archmage, Radiant Paladin and One-Handed Warrior added; Summoner's Dark Arts point moved to Iceman; four 1.0 variants merged into their guides · — gear picks checked against the game client's item names; this damage ranking added.

1.0 (released 2026-10-15) reset the skill tree, so all 18 builds are on it node by node: 14 rebuilt from before 1.0 and 4 new, the Summoner among them. Each page shows the tree with the build lit, the points it spends, what to buy at each level, and gear we can match to the 1.0 game files.

Enshrouded has no classes to pick: Warrior, Ranger and Mage are three trees joined around a hub of Core skills that every character shares, and a “class” is where you spend your points. How the classes work in 1.0.

Compare all 18 builds

Damage is what the build’s weapons deal in the 1.0 files (a staff deals its spell’s element). Points are what the allocation spends; “complete by” is the first level whose level-up points pay for all of it. Difficulty is derived from the points: Beginner = the whole build is affordable from level-ups by level 20, Intermediate = by level 35, Advanced = later, or it needs points from Shroud Roots and Elixir Wells. There is no power tier: nothing in the 1.0 files measures one.

Enshrouded classes in 1.0: Warrior, Ranger and Mage

There is no class to pick, and nothing locks you in. Every character shares one 1.0 skill tree of 166 skills among 243 nodes (the rest are attribute pips and starting points). The skills hang off three trees, Warrior, Ranger and Mage, around a hub of Core skills every build can reach, and a “class” is where you spend: level-ups give 2 points per level up to level 50, and Shroud Roots and Elixir Wells add more, 212 in all.

Counts, names and the build split come from the 1.0 skill-tree files; the number after a build is the points it spends in that area. Attribute effects are as the pre-1.0 wiki describes them.

So there is no best class to rank: pick the area whose weapons you enjoy and change it later. On respecs, Keen Games, Souls of the Frozen Frontier notes (2024-11-05; the price is pre-1.0 — the 1.0 client shows a per-node respec cost at the Flame but its amount is not in the files): “Each spent skill point costs 1 rune.” The skill-tree planner lets you route a build before you spend a point, and every build here opens in it pre-filled.

About this catalog

The database indexes 18 preset builds across 5 archetype roles (Mage, Ranger, Warrior, Survivor, Hybrid). Every build is a node-by-node allocation on the 1.0 skill tree, checked to be reachable and to fit the points of its level, with a buy order by level, gear we can match to the 1.0 game files, and a one-click planner link. Builds FAQ

What's the best build in Enshrouded?
There's no single best build: the 1.0 tree has 166 skills in one connected web, and your weapon and solo-or-group play decide the call. Our 18 builds are not ranked by a power tier — nothing in the 1.0 files measures that. The builds hub compares them on what the data does say: role, the damage their weapons deal, the points they spend and the level they come together.
How many builds are in Enshrouded?
We keep 18 builds, all on the 1.0 skill tree: Mage (6), Ranger (3), Warrior (3), Survivor (1), Hybrid (5). Each has its 1.0 points, a buy order by level, gear we can match to the 1.0 game files and a planner link.
What's the best Enshrouded build for solo play?
The Solo Adventurer Hybrid is built for it — defensive and healing nodes from three areas. Sword & Board Tank and Ranger Sniper are the single-class options that keep you alive alone.
What's the best Enshrouded build for beginners?
The Starter build covers the first 10 levels with one cheap node from each side, so you can choose a class later; Fire Mage Starter is the beginner Mage. Crafter Survivor is the cheapest build at 13 points.
Can you respec a build in Enshrouded?
Yes. On cost, Keen Games, Souls of the Frozen Frontier notes (2024-11-05; the price is pre-1.0 — the 1.0 client shows a per-node respec cost at the Flame but its amount is not in the files): "Each spent skill point costs 1 rune." 1.0 itself reset the skill tree once for every existing save, in Keen's words: "When playing for the first time in version 1.0.0.0 with an existing save game, the skill tree will be reset."
Does Enshrouded have classes?
No. Every character shares one connected 1.0 tree of 166 skills, and any node is reachable once you connect a path to it. The skills sit in three areas — Warrior, Ranger and Mage — around a core every build can reach; "class" just describes where you spent.
What's the best class in Enshrouded?
There isn't one, because there are no classes to rank. Pick the area whose weapons you enjoy — Mage for staffs and wands, Ranger for bows and daggers, Warrior for melee — and change it with a respec. The builds hub compares every build by role, damage type and points.
What's the best Enshrouded co-op build?
A group does well with Healer Support for healing (Water Aura heals allies around you, in its pre-1.0 description), Sword & Board Tank in front (Earth Aura cuts damage for allies nearby, also pre-1.0) and damage from the Ranger Sniper, Necromancer or the new Summoner.
