Key skills

The nodes the build is for. “1.0 files” are the values the 1.0 game data stores per rank; “Before 1.0” is the skill's pre-1.0 wiki description, kept for what it does, not its numbers.

  • Multi ShotDefining

    Ranger4 pts

Before 1.0: When using regular arrows there is a 20% chance to spawn a flurry of arrows that spread slightly. This will cost additional arrows, but will not trigger on special arrows.

  • Multi Shot Spread

    Ranger3 pts

Before 1.0: Adds a 25% chance to spawn an additional projectile to your "flurry of arrows" from the "Multi Shot" skill. This additional projectile does not subtract from your stack of ammunition.

  • Multi Shot Trigger

    Ranger3 pts

Before 1.0: ALL arrows, including special arrows, can trigger "Multi Shot". The special Multi Shot projectiles will subtract from your stack of ammunition.

  • Marksman

    Ranger1 pt per rank

    1.0 files: 5% per rank

Before 1.0: All damage dealt with ranged weapons is increased by 10%

Gear

Only weapons and sets we can match to an item in the 1.0 game files. Tiers come from those files; a “likely match” agrees on 4–5 of 5 perk slots rather than all of them.

No recipe in the 1.0 files (found, not crafted): Temple Keeper's Bow.

One of each piece, from the 1.0 recipes, intermediate crafts rounded up to whole batches. Map counts are placements, not ore veins.

Where most of it sits together: the 1.2 km × 800 m area of Revelwood that covers the largest share of what the gear above needs, cut from our map. Dots are the same colours as the map draws them; a spot that gives several of the materials shows one dot for each.

FAQ

Multi-Shot Bowmaster vs Ranger Sniper?
The Sniper spends on crits and weak points (Sniper, Skill Shot, Fatal Precision); the Bowmaster spends on Multi Shot and its two upgrades for more arrows per shot.
Best bow for Bowmaster?
Talion's Bow, carried at T2–T7 in the 1.0 files (likely match), so it can be upgraded as you level. Spiked Bow (T6, likely match) is the alternative.
Should I use a crossbow instead?
Our data has no crossbows; Multi Shot's pre-1.0 wording names regular arrows.
