Shroud Roots are the cleansable Shroud anchors — destroying one rolls back the local Shroud line, unlocks safer travel through that area, and drops a stack of Shroud crafting materials. The 1.0 game files place 60 of them, and the map below shows every one where the files put it: the wiki's 39 pins plus the 21 the wiki never had.

Each Root fight is a small arena clear with 2-4 Shroud Sentinels guarding the core. Bring a ranged weapon plus a mid-game melee — Sentinels close quickly but stagger from a single Power Shot. Root rewards skew toward Shroud Liquid, Bug Dust, and Spore-related materials.
