Enshrouded 1.0 release date

After more than two and a half years in Early Access, Keen Games has confirmed October 15, 2026as the Enshrouded 1.0 full-release date. The 1.0 launch is also the game's console debut: it arrives on PlayStation 5 the same day as the PC version, with dedicated PS5 Pro support. Early Access began on January 24, 2024, so 1.0 marks the end of the Early Access period.

Enshrouded on PS5 and Xbox

PlayStation 5: launches with 1.0 on October 15, 2026, including PS5 Pro enhancements — the first time Enshrouded is playable on console. There is no PS4 version.

Xbox Series X|S: still in development and planned for spring 2027, a few months after the PC/PS5 1.0 launch. No Xbox One version has been announced. Until these ship, Enshrouded is PC-exclusive on Steam.

Latest Enshrouded update

The current Early Access build is version 0.9.1.2 (Hotfix 42, released June 29, 2026), a stability pass on top of the last major content update, "Forging the Path". That update reworked the game from the ground up — a combat overhaul with new heavy attacks and weapon skills, reworked weapons, armour and water, a reset-and-refunded skill tree, and Adventure Sharing for browsing and playing community-built worlds. PC players:the Early Access build is already large and well-reviewed, and your world and progress carry straight into 1.0 — there's no reason to wait. 1.0 is the finish line, not a reset.

PS5 & Xbox players: you have to wait — the console versions only arrive at 1.0 (PS5 on October 15, 2026; Xbox in spring 2027). Wishlist it and jump in day one.

When is the Enshrouded 1.0 release date?

Enshrouded leaves Early Access and launches its 1.0 full release on October 15, 2026, on PC and PlayStation 5. It has been in Steam Early Access since January 24, 2024.

Is Enshrouded on PS5?

Not yet — but it's coming. Enshrouded arrives on PlayStation 5 with the 1.0 launch on October 15, 2026, and the release includes PS5 Pro support. There is no PS4 version planned.

Is Enshrouded on Xbox?

Not at 1.0. The Xbox Series X|S version is still in development and is planned for spring 2027 — a few months after the PC and PS5 1.0 launch. There is no Xbox One version.
