File values, not the in-game damage number. The files store a damage multiplier, a speed multiplier and each damage type's share; the number the game shows is worked out by game code from level, rarity and attributes, and is not in the files, so no damage or DPS figure is printed here. The server files carry no English names either: names are the game client's own English item names (client build 1267041) or a confirmed match, and only the 740 items with one are listed; the other 8 rows are counted above, not listed.

The wiki's weapon list from before 1.0 — search by name or perk, filter by category, rarity or damage type, and sort by the wiki's damage estimate, power, level or parry power. The weapons matched to the 1.0 files are in the database above.

Damage and Power are the wiki's own {{Weapon Stats}} formula evaluated at each weapon's required level. Damage adds 10% per damage perk; bows and staves have Power instead, which ignores perks — a different number, so it gets its own bar, column and sort and is never ranked against Damage. The wiki notes these figures are not updated post Wake of Water, so treat them as estimates. Legendary = the weapon carries named perks.

How weapon damage & scaling works

Weapon damage in Enshrouded scales with three core attributes: DEX (Dexterity) for bows + daggers + throwing weapons, STR (Strength) for all melee one- and two-handed weapons, and INT (Intelligence) for wands + staves. Putting attribute points into the wrong stat caps your weapon damage hard — a STR-stacked Mage with a staff hits like wet noodles.

Each weapon page lists its scaling stat in the slot intro so you can match attribute investment.

Legendary weapons in Enshrouded are end-game named weapons that drop from Hollow Halls bosses, Sun Temple chests, and biome-specific encounters in Kindlewastes / Albaneve Summits / Veilwater Basin. They carry named perks (e.g. "Magic Ice Damage", "Headseeker", "Renewal") on top of their base damage profile — mundane weapons have no perks.

See the dedicated Legendary Weapons hub for the full set sorted by drop region + level.

Weapon tier list — slot priority

Slot priorities for current Enshrouded meta. S = meta-defining (pairs with the most-played builds + legendary picks in every level band). A = strong for specific archetypes. B = niche / situational.

CategoryTierScalingCountWhy pick it
DaggersADEX (Dexterity)33Fast off-hand and main-hand options. Pair with the Assassin Dual Blades build for backstab burst; scales with DEX.
One-handed SwordsSSTR (Strength)38All-purpose melee. The sword-and-shield combo is the Tank's bread and butter; scales with STR.
One-handed AxesASTR (Strength)30Heavy single-hand with strong stagger. Great for Warriors that want shield uptime without dropping to a club.
One-handed ClubsBSTR (Strength)24Maces and clubs — high stun against armoured enemies. Pair with a heavy shield for the Sword & Board variant.
Two-handed GreatswordsASTR (Strength)24High-DPS sweepers. The Barbarian / Whirlwind Crescendo loadout lives here; trades shield uptime for raw burst.
Two-handed AxesBSTR (Strength)15Slow, heavy two-handers. Top stagger in slot; ideal against armoured frontline enemies and slow bosses.
Two-handed HammersASTR (Strength)18Crushing damage + AoE shockwave on heavy attacks. Pairs naturally with the Berserker Barbarian build.
Two-handed ClubsBSTR (Strength)8Niche category — only 8 entries. Stamina-efficient burst alternatives for two-handed mains.
BowsSDEX (Dexterity)35Long-range main weapon for Rangers. Sniper / Marksman builds live here; scales with DEX, headshots ignore armor.
Throwing WeaponsBDEX (Dexterity)10Hybrid utility — toss between bow shots for stagger, or as a quick-cast mage off-hand.
WandsAINT (Intelligence)30Single-target Mage off-hand. Faster cast than staves; pair with INT-scaling builds for chip damage.
StavesSINT (Intelligence)29Main Mage weapon. Higher base damage than wands but slower cast. Choose by element (fire/ice/lightning) matching your skill tree.

Weapons FAQ

What is the best weapon in Enshrouded?
There's no single best weapon — Enshrouded ships 294 weapons across 12 categories. The strongest pick depends on your build (Mage / Ranger / Warrior / Survivor) and your weapon-skill specialisation. Bows + One-handed Swords + Staves are the S-tier slots for current meta because they pair cleanly with the most-played skill trees. See the tier list below for the full slot ranking.
How many weapons are in Enshrouded?
294 weapons documented across 12 categories: Daggers, 1H/2H Swords, 1H/2H Axes, 1H/2H Clubs, 2H Greatswords, 2H Hammers, Bows, Wands, Staves, and Throwing Weapons. 255 of those are flagged legendary (carry named perks) — see the dedicated Legendary Weapons hub for the full list with drop regions.
How do you get legendary weapons in Enshrouded?
Legendary weapons drop from end-game Hollow Halls bosses + Sun Temple chests in Kindlewastes / Albaneve Summits / Veilwater Basin. A handful are craftable via end-game NPC crafters. Legendary weapons carry named perks (e.g. "Magic Ice Damage", "Headseeker", "Renewal") on top of base damage — mundane weapons have no perks. The Legendary Weapons page lists all 255 confirmed legendaries with drop region + perks.
What's the best weapon for a beginner in Enshrouded?
Bow (Ranger archetype) is the safest starter weapon — long range lets you learn enemy patterns while staying alive. One-handed sword + shield is the safest melee starter (Sword & Board Tank); wand is the safest spell starter (faster cast than staff means lower commitment per attack). All three pair with progression-friendly skill trees.
Can you dual-wield in Enshrouded?
Yes — daggers and one-handed weapons can be paired in main + off-hand slots. The Assassin Dual Blades preset build is the canonical dual-dagger setup; dual swords + dual axes + sword-and-wand (Battlemage) are also viable. Two-handed weapons (greatswords, hammers, 2H axes) cannot dual-wield by definition.
What's the highest-level weapon in Enshrouded?
In Enshrouded 1.0 the player level cap is 50 and gear reaches level 55 when fully upgraded (1.0 game files). Legendary weapons are the highest rarity — the legendary hub lists every one with its required level.
