Palworld Implants

Implants are used at the Pal Surgery Table (technology level 38) to pick a Pal’s passive skill instead of rolling for it. There are 61 — 14 bought with Battle Tickets or Successful Bounty Tokens, 21 from the Ancient Relic Recycler, and 26 with no source in the game data.

The game’s own description: An implant embedded into a Pal’s body to change its passive skill. When in inventory, allows you to select the corresponding passive skill at a Pal Surgery Table.

The game files hold 61 implants a player can get: 40 key items and 21 disposable ones. Below is each one with the passive it grafts — in the game’s own words — and every source our data shows for it.

How the Pal Surgery Table uses them

The Pal Surgery Table lists 54 passives it can graft. For 19 of them the card names no implant at all — only a gold price — so those you can buy outright. The other passives appear on the table only with their implant in your inventory.

The gold follows the passive’s rank: 10,000 gold for rank −1 and +1; 50,000 gold for rank +2 and +3. A disposable implant’s card carries no gold price — the implant itself is what the surgery uses up.

Disposable implants are consumables (the game files type them Consume); the others are key items (Essential). The table also changes a Pal’s gender with a Pal Reverser.

Disposable implants: Ancient Relic Recycler odds

Every disposable implant comes out of the Ancient Relic Recycler (technology level 74). The chance per relic fed in, computed from the game’s loot tables — the same arithmetic as our item pages, checked against paldb to the third decimal.

3 are also a fixed Ancient Ruin reward: Mastery of Fasting at Dragonmark Peak; Heart of the Immovable King at Enchanted Firmament; Swift at Waterlily Gorge.

Implants with no known source

26 implants are in the game files with no recipe, no loot table, no Pal drop and no shop. We print that rather than guess. For 19 of them it barely matters: the Surgery Table grafts the same passive for gold alone. The rest share their passive with a disposable implant from the relic recycler.

Mercy Hit, Insomnia, Philanthropist, Impatient, Fit as a Fiddle, Eternal Engine, Nimble, Swift, Dainty Eater, Diet Lover, Mastery of Fasting, Positive Thinker, Workaholic, Heart of the Immovable King, Brave, Ferocious, Demon God, Hard Skin, Diamond Body, Serious, Remarkable Craftsmanship, Mine Foreman, Logging Foreman, Fine Furs, Sleek Stroke, Work Slave.

In the files, not in the game

7 more implant rows ship with Palworld but are flagged as not legal in game, so no player can hold one: Disposable Implant: Lucky, Disposable Implant: Legend, Disposable Implant: Siren of the Void, Disposable Implant: Eternal Flame, Disposable Implant: Invader, Disposable Implant: Lunker, Disposable Implant: Savior.
