How feeding Skill Fruits works

Each tree drops a fruit of a specific element (Grass, Fire, Water, etc.) and tier. Feed the fruit to a Pal whose element type matches the fruit's element — the Pal learns the active skill encoded in the fruit. Fruit is consumed on use. Element matching is strict: a Fire fruit teaches a Fire Pal, but won't work on a Water Pal. Trees respawn on a real-time cycle, so the same tree can be farmed across sessions.

Strategy tips

  • Element matching is mandatory — wasted fruits on a non-matching Pal teach nothing.
  • Tier-2 and tier-3 fruits teach stronger active skills; higher-tier trees are sparser and often gated to later regions.
  • Skill fruit trees respawn on a real-time cycle (~daily) — don't bother camping; come back another session.
  • Pair fruit farming with regional Pal-capture trips; you'll often pass multiple trees on the same route.

Frequently asked questions

How many Skill Fruit Trees are in Palworld?
27 named skill fruit trees mapped across 8 regions. Feybreak and Twilight Dunes are tied for the most (6 each); Sakurajima and Astral Mountains follow.
How do Skill Fruits work in Palworld?
Pick a fruit from a tree, then feed it to a Pal of matching element type. The Pal learns the active skill stored in the fruit. Feeding is consumed — one fruit teaches one skill to one Pal. Element matching is mandatory; a Fire fruit only teaches Fire Pals.
Do Skill Fruit Trees respawn in Palworld?
Yes — trees respawn on a real-time cycle (roughly daily). Unlike Lifmunk Effigies or treasure dig sites, you can farm the same skill fruit tree across multiple sessions.
Can I give any Skill Fruit to any Pal?
No — element matching is strict. A Fire fruit only teaches Fire-type Pals; a Water fruit only teaches Water-type. Dual-element Pals can accept fruits from either of their types. Mismatched feeding does nothing — the fruit isn't consumed but the skill isn't learned either.
