Palworld Tower Bosses — All 7 in Order, Levels & Weaknesses

Boss towers in Palworld — five Syndicate strongholds across Palpagos with their faction commanders

Boss Towers gate progression in Palworld. The five base-game towers belong to the Rayne Syndicate (Zoe and Grizzbolt), Free Pal Alliance (Lily and Lyleen), Brothers of the Eternal Pyre (Axel and Orserk), PIDF (Marcus and Faleris), and PAL Genetic Research Unit (Victor and Shadowbeak). The Sakurajima DLC adds the Moonflower Tower (Saya and Selyne) and the Feybreak DLC adds the Feybreak Tower (Bjorn and Bastigor) — seven towers in total.

Each fight has a 10-minute time limit. The tower entrance is its own fast-travel point — unlock it on approach so you can respawn at the door if you wipe inside.

Per-tower notes — boss HP, element + counter, and a short strategy paragraph. Anchor links match the faction names in the cheat-sheet above.

Grizzbolt — Rayne Syndicate tower boss

Zoe & Grizzbolt Rayne Syndicate

Lv 10HP 30,550Element ElectricCounter Ground

First tower in the natural progression. Grizzbolt's Electric kit hits hard but its HP pool is the smallest in the game, so even a Ground-typed mid-tier Pal clears the fight in under 5 minutes if you keep close enough to interrupt the lightning casts.

→ Grizzbolt full stat sheet · Windswept Hills region

Lyleen — Free Pal Alliance tower boss

Lily & Lyleen Free Pal Alliance

Lv 25HP 69,375Element GrassCounter Fire

Lyleen heals over the fight, so DPS-race matters — open with a Fire-typed Pal and stack burn damage to outpace the heal. Lily herself uses ranged weapons; close the gap while your Pal pressures Lyleen, then split focus on the Tamer once the boss is past half HP.

→ Lyleen full stat sheet · Verdant Brook region

Orserk — Brothers of the Eternal Pyre tower boss

Axel & Orserk Brothers of the Eternal Pyre

Lv 40HP 72,900Element Dragon · ElectricCounter Ice, Ground

Dual-typed Dragon + Electric means both Ice and Ground counter Orserk — Frostallion or Anubis both work, with Frostallion winning on damage output. Axel's Tamer kit deals Fire damage so cold-resist gear helps both sides of the fight.

→ Orserk full stat sheet · Mt. Obsidian region

Faleris — PIDF tower boss

Marcus & Faleris PIDF

Lv 45HP 86,275Element FireCounter Water

Faleris is a flying Fire boss — bring a Water-typed Pal (Jormuntide or Suzaku Aqua) and stay mobile to avoid the ground-pound AOE. Marcus's mech pet adds chip damage at range, so don't ignore him while your Pal pressures Faleris.

→ Faleris full stat sheet · Twilight Dunes region

Shadowbeak — PAL Genetic Research Unit tower boss

Victor & Shadowbeak PAL Genetic Research Unit

Lv 50HP 105,000Element DarkCounter Dragon

Shadowbeak's Dark kit dodges between melee swings — Dragon-typed counters like Jormuntide Ignis or Helzephyr land cleanest. Victor uses long-range tech weapons; keep moving and let your Pal soak the boss's burst between his volleys.

→ Shadowbeak full stat sheet · Astral Mountains region

Selyne — Moonflower Tower (Sakurajima DLC) tower boss

Saya & Selyne Moonflower Tower (Sakurajima DLC)

Lv 55HP 261,000Element DarkCounter Dragon

Selyne is a Dark legendary — Dragon-typed Pals counter, with Shadowbeak Lux (yes, bred from the previous tower's boss) being a strong choice. Saya's kit uses lunar AOE patterns; stay clear of the moonlit ground tells and burst Selyne first.

→ Selyne full stat sheet · Sakurajima region

Bastigor — Feybreak Tower (Feybreak DLC) tower boss

Bjorn & Bastigor Feybreak Tower (Feybreak DLC)

Lv 58HP 509,000Element IceCounter Fire

Highest HP pool in the game — Bastigor is a Fire-weak Ice boss that needs full endgame gear plus a Fire Pal (Faleris, Suzaku Lux). Bjorn requires you to clear Dazzi Noct / Caprity Noct / Omascul field bosses for bounty tokens before he'll fight — don't fast-travel up the Feybreak peak without that gate cleared first.

Hard Mode towers — unlock, levels, and per-fight twists

Hard Mode unlocks once you have defeated six Faction Leaders on Normal. Six of the seven Hard Mode encounters cap at Level 55 — Bjorn is the lone outlier at Level 60. HP pools scale roughly 4–12× over Normal, and most fights introduce additional adds or a mid-fight mechanic twist. The 10-minute timer and one-attempt-per-cooldown rules carry over unchanged.

Rewards are cosmetic-only — Tamer outfits, statue skins and name banners. Ancient Civilization Parts and Ancient Technology Points do not stack beyond the Normal clear, so Hard Mode is a bragging-rights collector run, never a farming target.

Stats sourced live from each tower's dedicated palworld.wiki.gg page (Zoe, Lily, Axel, Marcus, Victor) plus the Tower top-page table (level cap row for Saya & Bjorn). The Saya_and_Selyne and Bjorn_and_Bastigor per-boss pages are still stubs as of 2026-06-03 — Hard Mode HP for those two will land once the community backfills them.

Per-tower Hard Mode twists

  • Grizzbolt

    Zoe & GrizzboltLv 55 · 366,200 HP

Hard Mode adds a Level 55 Syndicate Crusher fighting alongside the duo — clear it first or burst Grizzbolt past 70% to phase the add.

  • Lyleen

    Lily & LyleenLv 55 · 380,000 HP

Two Level 55 Free Pal Alliance Devouts spawn with crossbows; Lyleen also leans on Water-element attacks in Hard Mode, so the Fire-counter pivots toward Electric coverage for the back half of the fight.

  • Orserk

    Axel & OrserkLv 55 · 352,200 HP

Mossanda Lux and Relaxaurus Lux join as adds; Orserk itself gains Grass-element moves in Hard Mode, so the Ice/Ground counter holds but bring Fire coverage for the Grass surprise.

  • Faleris

    Marcus & FalerisLv 55 · 352,200 HP

Hard Mode brings PIDF Infantry and Elites onto the rooftop alongside Marcus; clear them off the AOE pads first or your Water-Pal eats stim-grenade chip damage.

  • Shadowbeak

    Victor & ShadowbeakLv 55 · 407,500 HP

At ~30% HP Shadowbeak spawns a clone with an identical health pool (distinguish via the second HP bar). AOE skills like Holy Burst or Air Blade and a Vampiric passive on your Pal handle both originals at once.

  • Hard Mode HP not yet documented on palworld.wiki.gg (page is a stub). Hard Mode level itself stays at 55, same as Normal — Sakurajima moves the Hard scaling onto add-spawns and pattern speed rather than a level bump.

  • Bjorn's Hard Mode is the only one that scales past Level 55 — the boss caps at Level 60. Wiki.gg per-boss HP value not yet published; bring the same Fire / Suzaku Lux loadout as Normal with a damage-amplifying passive (Demon God, Legend) stacked on the carry Pal.

Recommended approach: clear all 7 towers on Normal first to bank the ATP + Ancient Civilization Parts, then come back for Hard Mode with end-game gear and a counter-element team you trust. Cooldowns and the 10-minute timer apply the same way as Normal — no quality-of-life concessions.

How tower fights work

  • Each tower fight has a hard 10-minute timer. Run the clock out and you fail the encounter — it does not pause for menus or dialogue.
  • The tower entrance is its own fast-travel point. Unlock it on first approach so a wipe sends you straight back to the door instead of the nearest open-world statue.
  • You fight the human Pal Tamer alongside their partner Pal — the table above lists the partner Pal with the elements that matter for damage planning.
  • Dropping the boss Pal does not capture it directly — story-bound rewards (technology points, progression flags) are what you walk away with.
  • Recommended Pal level: scale roughly with each tower's region — the regions on the right of the table sit later in the level curve. We don't list per-tower minimums because the game doesn't enforce them.

Frequently asked questions

Can I retry a tower fight if I lose?

Yes — wiping or running out the clock just kicks you out. Walk back through the door and the encounter restarts. Bring more healing items and a Pal that counters the table's 'Element' column.

Do I need both DLCs to fight the Sakurajima and Feybreak towers?

Yes. Moonflower Tower (Saya / Selyne) requires the Sakurajima content; Feybreak Tower (Bjorn / Bastigor) requires the Feybreak content. The five base-game towers are accessible to all owners.

Are tower bosses related to Sealed Realms?

They're separate systems. Towers are timed faction fights gated by story; Sealed Realms are open-world boss arenas unlocked with key items. Both reward unique high-level Pals (towers via story progression, realms via guaranteed capture).

What's the recommended level for each tower boss?

Match the tower's listed level or run a few levels above. Lv 10 Grizzbolt is the natural first tower; Lv 25 Lyleen wants mid-game gear; Lv 40 Orserk onwards (Lv 45 Faleris, Lv 50 Shadowbeak, Lv 55 Selyne, Lv 58 Bastigor) needs late-game weapons and a counter-element team. The cheat-sheet above lists every tower's exact wiki.gg-canonical boss level.

Do tower bosses drop Ancient Civilization Parts?

Yes — every tower clear awards a fixed stack of Ancient Civilization Parts (also called Cores), the crafting ingredient for late-game gear like the Hyper Shield and Mega Grappling Gun. See our dedicated guide on how to farm them efficiently.

Can I retry tower fights to grind rewards?

Yes — towers can be re-challenged after their cooldown resets. A 5-tower rotation is the fastest source of Ancient Civilization Parts in the game (see our farming guide). The story rewards only fire once but the loot keeps coming.

Is there a Hard Mode for tower bosses?

Yes — but it does not unlock per-tower. Hard Mode opens for all previously cleared towers at once after you've defeated six Faction Leaders on Normal (per palworld.wiki.gg). Six of the seven Hard Mode encounters cap at Level 55; Bjorn is the only outlier and scales to Level 60. HP pools jump roughly 4–12× over Normal and most fights add a mob or a mid-fight mechanic (a Lv 55 Syndicate Crusher joins Zoe; Shadowbeak spawns a clone at ~30% HP; Lyleen leans on Water moves; Orserk gains Grass moves). Rewards are cosmetic only — statue skins and Tamer outfits — so Hard Mode is a collector run, not a farming target.

How do you unlock Hard Mode towers in Palworld?

Defeat six Faction Leader tower bosses on Normal. Once the sixth Normal clear lands, every previously cleared tower opens its Hard Mode option from the same fight prompt at the tower base (per palworld.wiki.gg/wiki/Tower). The unlock is account-wide for that save — you don't have to repeat earlier fights in any particular order.
