World chests are fixed-position loot containers scattered across Palpagos — ruins, dungeon entrances, abandoned camps. Each chest's drop pool scales with your character level when it generates, so a chest you skip at level 12 will hand you level-30 gear when you come back to it. The map pins every confirmed chest so you can sweep a region without missing one.
Pair the chest layer with Sealed Realms and Lifmunk Effigies — they cluster near the same landmarks, which means one cleared route picks up all three categories at once. Sign-in keeps your found-chest checkmarks synced across devices when you switch from the kitchen tablet to a desktop session.
Do Palworld chests respawn?
Yes — every chest reopens on a per-server timer (~30 minutes single-player). The map shows spawn locations, not single drops; returning to the same chest a day later gives you fresh loot.
Where are the best chests in Palworld?
Highest-density clusters sit around the Plateau of Beginnings, Forgotten Island church ruins, and Mt. Obsidian's fast-travel statues. Late-game farmers route through Feybreak's Loess Plains where every camp has 3-4 chests in a tight loop.
Are dungeon chests on this map?
No — the chest layer pins only world (overworld) chests with fixed positions. Dungeon chests reroll along with the dungeon interior on each run; switch to the Dungeons map to see entrance points.
