There are 10 Ancient Lava deposits on our map and every one is inside the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary in Mt. Obsidian. Not scattered across the map — all in one guarded reserve on volcanic ground, so bring heat protection as well as a fight plan.
No Pal drops Ancient Lava and no chest holds it, so there is no route that avoids the sanctuary. Plan one clean sweep: these deposits are the whole supply per respawn cycle.
