Soralite exists only on Sunreach, the sky islands above Palpagos: all 208 nodes we map are up there, and the main island has none. (The map's region filter still files the sky islands under the Outlying Isles.) You need flight and the Sunreach unlock before the first node is within reach.
Jetragon is the shortcut — a flat 10 Soralite on every kill, ten nodes' worth from one fight, with a Thermal Core on the same kill. Pierdon Cryst drops 4-5 Soralite, 4-5 Pure Quartz and 4-5 Ice Organ, all guaranteed. A Sunreach expedition returns Soralite too, if you would rather send Pals than fly up yourself.
