Mining is the bottleneck on Palworld's tech tree — every workstation upgrade, weapon, and electric circuit asks for ore, coal, sulfur, or one of the rare quartz/chromite/hexolite veins. Where are the best mining spots in Palworld?
Dense clusters: coal at Mount Obsidian's foothills, pure quartz around the Astral Mountains, sulfur in Feybreak's volcanic outcrops, chromite near Twilight Dunes desert ruins. Open the map and toggle each ore type to plan a single-base mining route.
How do I get coal in Palworld?
Coal nodes are large black-rock veins that spawn in southwestern Palpagos and around Mt. Obsidian. Mine them with a metal pickaxe or assign a Tombat/Anubis with Mining 3+ at a base built next to a cluster. Our where-to-get-coal guide marks the densest nodes.
What are hexolite and pure quartz used for?
Pure Quartz is an electronics ingredient (Circuit Boards, advanced Pal Spheres, Refrigerators). Hexolite is a late-game material gated behind Tech Level 50+ workstations. Both nodes are rare — the map lets you set a fast-travel waypoint right next to a confirmed vein.
