Sakurajima Island is the first major Palworld DLC area — a cherry-blossom archipelago east of Palpagos Islands. It introduces new Pals (Selyne, Yakumo, Bastigor, and others), the Moonflower Tower (Saya + Selyne), the Mushroom Wetlands and Southern Sandbar biomes, and a fresh tech tree branch.

Frequently asked

How do I get to Sakurajima Island in Palworld?

Sakurajima is reached from the base game after unlocking the Pal Box. Travel by boat or by flying mount from the eastern shore of Palpagos Islands — the in-game map exposes the fast-travel statues once you arrive. The Sakurajima content is included with the base game (not a paid DLC).

What new Pals are in Sakurajima?

Sakurajima introduces a roster of new species — search for Selyne, Yakumo, and others in our Paldeck filtered by region. The Moonflower Tower boss fight pairs Saya with the legendary-tier Selyne.

Where is the Moonflower Tower?

The Moonflower Tower is the Sakurajima boss tower — Saya + Selyne. See our boss-towers guide for the recommended counter team and the full level-band breakdown.

What's the difference between Sakurajima, Feybreak, and Tides of Terraria?

Sakurajima is the cherry-blossom archipelago (Mushroom Wetlands, Southern Sandbar, Moonflower Tower). Feybreak is the second DLC area with Loess Plains, Stone Pillar Cave, the Oculus Gate, and the Bjorn + Bastigor tower. Tides of Terraria is the most recent expansion with its own islands and Pal roster. All three are mapped in our interactive map.

What level should I be for Sakurajima?

Sakurajima content scales above the base-game endgame band — most players arrive at level 50+ after clearing Mount Obsidian and Astral Mountains. The Moonflower Tower boss is significantly tougher than the base-game towers.
