Pals ranked by their Mining work suitability level (1–8). Higher levels finish tasks faster and unlock advanced station tiers.

Mining is the work suitability for breaking ore at Mining Sites and processing stone/coal at base stations. Late-game bases need huge Ore throughput — a Pal Metal Ingot eats Refined Ingots which eat Ore which needs Mining. Plan for at least one Lv 3+ Mining Pal at every base that smelts metal, plus a second base dedicated to Coal/Sulfur deposits if you're scaling weapons production.

  • Don't deploy multiple Mining Pals at one Mining Site — only one slot per station. Add a second site instead.

Does Mining apply to deposits I dig myself in the wild?
No — wild ore nodes are mined by you or your active Pal companion's attacks; the work suitability only applies at base stations.
What's the fastest path to a Lv 3+ Mining Pal?
Catch any Lv 1-2 Mining Pal early and Soul-stone it up. By the time you unlock Lv 3 stations the upgraded Pal is ready.
