Best Farming Pals in Palworld

Pals ranked by their monster_farm work suitability level (1–4). Higher levels finish tasks faster and unlock advanced station tiers.

Farming (game key: monster_farm) is the work suitability for the Ranch — Pals assigned to it produce passive items over time (Wool, Eggs, Milk, Pal Fluids, even Gold Coins from Mau). Every base eventually wants a Ranch with two or three farm-suitable Pals to generate idle income.

Practical tips

  • Each Ranch holds up to 4 Pals — combine ranch picks that produce different items for a self-sustaining income station.
  • Ranch yields keep producing while you're away from the base — one of the few stations that runs offline-style.

Common questions

Do farmed items spoil?
Mostly no — Wool, Eggs, Honey are non-perishable. Milk spoils; chill it in a Refrigerator if you don't process it immediately.
Can I assign a Pal to both Farming and another work?
Pals work whatever's available — if all Ranch slots are full, a Farming Pal can fall back to other suitabilities it has. But a dedicated Ranch Pal will idle if the Ranch is full.
