It's the single most-used work skill — almost every base wants two or three Handiwork Pals running constantly. Lv 3+ is the threshold where modern bases start to feel productive.

Why is a high-tier Pal sometimes idle even with the queue full?
Sanity. High-tier Pals burn SAN fast at busy stations; route them past a Hot Spring on the way back to the box.
Does Handiwork affect the Repair Bench?
Yes — repairing items uses the same skill. A Lv 4 Handiwork Pal both crafts AND repairs at the bench.
