Pals ranked by their Cooling work suitability level (1–8). Higher levels finish tasks faster and unlock advanced station tiers.
Cooling is the work suitability that runs the Refrigerator (and Cooler Box, depending on patch). A Cooling Pal keeps perishables — meat, eggs, milk, cooked food — from spoiling in storage. Every base that processes meat into cooked food needs at least one Lv 1 Cooling Pal; bases with multiple refrigerators need higher levels.
