High Quality Pal Oil is a Pal drop, not a node, and Mammorest is the answer: 5-10 per kill at a 100% rate, more than double what most droppers give. Mammorest Cryst matches it. Below them, Eidrolon and Eidrolon Ignis give 5-6, and a long tail of Pals give one or two. It is the material behind Polymer, and it also feeds several guns — the Handgun alone takes fifteen.

This is not Crude Oil

Palworld ships two oils and they behave nothing alike. Crude Oil comes from an oil field under a base and feeds Wing Cell; High Quality Pal Oil comes off a defeated Pal and feeds Polymer and firearms. A recipe asking for one will not accept the other.

Butcher for more

Using a Meat Cleaver on a captured Pal returns its drop table again, so a captured Mammorest can be butchered rather than released. That doubles the return on the trip if you were going to catch it anyway.
