• Predator Pals are aggressive — they attack the moment they see you. Approach with a combat Pal already deployed.
• Their drop tables include rare Feybreak materials and higher-tier schematics than the base species — worth the harder fight if you're chasing endgame gear.
• Capture rate is brutally low; expect to soften the Predator to under 10% HP and burn several Ultra or Legendary spheres per attempt.
• Bring elemental Pals matched to the Predator's weakness. Same type rules as normal Pals — the size and aggression don't change matchup math.

Extreme "Rampaging" variants of normal Pals introduced in the Feybreak DLC. They're larger and more aggressive than Alphas, with boosted stats and drop tables. Each Predator marker hosts a single Rampaging variant that engages on sight.

How are Predator Pals different from Alphas?

Alphas are a base-game mechanic — larger normal Pals at fixed spawn points across all regions. Predators are Feybreak DLC content — extreme variants with the "Rampaging" prefix, much higher base stats, and tougher capture mechanics. You won't find Predators in pre-DLC regions.

Can you catch a Predator Pal?
