Palworld Best Teams — By Element and By Tower Boss
In Palworld 1.0, a team is 5 Pals, and the type chart decides who to bring. This guide builds a team for each of 9 elements and for 11 of the 12 tower bosses (Astralym, the last, is not a Pal you can own), shows where each team is exposed, and opens it in the team builder.

Every name below is chosen by rule, not by taste, and every team links into the team builder so you can swap anyone out.

Teams by element
Pick the element you want to run. Each card is a 5-Pal team: the first three are the strongest Pals of that element on the combat tier list, the last two cover what the core misses. "Gaps" lists elements none of the five hits hard, and "Shared weakness" lists elements two or more of them fear.

Teams by tower boss
Each tower boss is a Pal (plus a trainer for the first eight). The table gives its element, the elements that hit it hard, and the three Pals to bring: those with the strongest move that hits it hard, skipping any Pal the boss's own attack elements hit hard. "Try it" opens the team builder with the boss selected and the three already in the party.

Reading the table
"Tower Lv / hard" is the boss's level in the normal tower and, where the game has one, in hard mode. "Bring" is a starting three, not a full party: add two Pals for the elements the boss does not use against you.

How the teams are chosen
Both rules use the type chart in the table below and the same Pal data as the combat tier list. Neither claims a win rate: the chart has no multipliers in any source we hold, and no source gives kill times.
Partner skills add a second layer. The wiki tags every partner skill Combat, Utility, Farming or Mount, and 160 of 286 are Combat, so when you swap a Pal in the builder, read its partner skill as well as its element.

Common mistakes
Stacking one element (the cards above show the shared weaknesses it creates), bringing a Pal the boss's attack elements hit hard, and treating a ranking position as a team role. A top-ranked Pal still takes extra damage from the element that hits it.
Teams or rankings: which page to use
Use the combat tier list and best combat Pals to compare single Pals. Use this page when the question is who to bring together, and the team builder to check any five you already own. The default party there is the top 5 of the tier list: Panthalus, Frostallion Noct, Frostallion, Necromus, Shaolong.
