Dog Coin
Dog Coin is the currency the Medal Merchants trade in, and it is searched for rather than crafted. Two layers pay it in bulk: the 1,987 Rank 2 salvage points, 10-20 at a 22% chance with a Fishing Magnet, and the 670 junk piles, which pay it on every one of their ten tables — 2-5 a pile on the starter grasslands, rising to 18-22 on Dark Island and 22-26 on the World Tree. Mimog also drops it, at 100%.
A mysterious coin. Apparently there are people who collect these. A Mimog will usually have them, but for some reason, they cannot be obtained by butchering it.

Every source of Dog Coin
19 sourcesDrop chances below are computed from Palworld’s own loot tables, so they are the game’s numbers rather than an estimate from play. Where a row names a grade, the chance is for a container of that grade — a snowfield chest holds four different pools and only one of them pays this item, so a figure averaged over all of them would be lower and would answer a different question.
