All 4 Yakumo Effigy Locations in Palworld 1.0

Named after the Pal Yakumo · one of the three rare effigy types

There are four Yakumo Effigies, and the reason most guides list only two or three is that they sit on two different maps. Two are on Palpagos. Two are on the World Tree map, which has its own coordinate grid — so the right numbers on the wrong map lead nowhere. All four are below.

Every Yakumo Effigy on the map

The 2 Palpagos ones are pinned below. The other 2 are on the World Tree map, which has its own grid.

Every Yakumo Effigy, with landmarks

  1. The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight-1123, -1388Feybreak

Feybreak, inside the large circular stone structure below the Oculus Gate fast-travel point. Warp in and look down — the ring is unmistakable from the air.

  2. Enchanted Firmament-281, -1459Outlying Isles

The Enchanted Firmament island in the far north-west. A flying mount is the only sane way in; there is no fast-travel point on the island itself.

  3. Lacrymal Shoal-156, -36World Tree map

On the World Tree map, not Palpagos. Lacrymal Shoal sits near the middle of the map — if you are still on Palpagos you will never find this one.

  4. Abandoned Laboratory-191, 213World Tree map

Also on the World Tree map, south-west of centre, at the Abandoned Laboratory.

What a Yakumo Effigy actually does

Offer one at a Statue of Power — the golden statues at fast-travel hubs — and it raises the odds of wild Pals rolling higher-tier Passive Skills. It does not touch capture rate — that is the Lifmunk Effigy.

That is the whole of what the game states, and it is the whole of what we will state. The per-effigy step size is not documented anywhere we would cite, and the numbers in video titles are guesses.

Yakumo vs Lifmunk — not the same collectible

Palworld 1.0 split the old Lifmunk Effigy into one variant per Pal. Eleven types exist on Palpagos: Lifmunk at 140, then Lamball, Rooby, Munchill, Pengullet, Tanzee, Depresso and Herbil at 30 apiece, and three rare ones — Lunaris, Relaxaurus and Yakumo at four each.

Lifmunk portraitLifmunk Effigy

140 locations. Raises your Pal capture rate, up to a cap of +10.

Yakumo portraitYakumo Effigy

4 locations. Raises the odds of higher-tier Passive Skills. Nothing to do with capture rate.

Handing in a Yakumo when you meant to boost capture rate is a wasted pickup, and the game does not warn you.

Frequently asked questions

How many Yakumo Effigies are there in Palworld?
Four. Two sit on Palpagos — one in Feybreak, one on the Enchanted Firmament island — and two are on the separate World Tree map. That split is why most lists stop at two or three: they cover one map and stop.
What does a Yakumo Effigy do?
Hand it to a Statue of Power and it raises the odds of wild Pals rolling higher-tier Passive Skills. It does NOT raise your capture rate — that is the Lifmunk Effigy, a different collectible with 140 locations of its own.
Is the Yakumo Effigy the same as the Lifmunk Effigy?
No. Palworld 1.0 split effigies into one variant per Pal — eleven types on Palpagos alone. Lifmunk is the common one at 140 locations and raises capture rate. Yakumo is one of the three rare types, four locations, and affects passive-skill rolls.
Do I need all four to get the bonus?
Offer whichever you find — each one counts. What we can state from the game's own data is the effect itself: a Yakumo Effigy offered at a Statue of Power raises the odds of higher-tier Passive Skills. The exact per-effigy step is not published anywhere we would trust, so we are not going to invent a number for it.
Can I miss a Yakumo Effigy permanently?
No. Effigies persist in the world and stay collectable after you have offered others. If a location looks empty you are almost certainly on the wrong map — two of the four are on the World Tree map.
Where are the other rare effigy types?
Relaxaurus and Lunaris are the other two rare types, four locations each. Every effigy of every type is on our interactive effigy map, filterable by region.

Effigy positions were cross-checked on 2026-08-05 against Nifrendil/pal-atlas, an independent extraction of the game files: all 270 Palpagos effigies matched within 0.70 game units, median 0.41.
