7 Days to Die Resources — Where to Get Them

72 resources and components from the game's own files: every block and animal that drops each one, the containers it can be looted from, which traders stock it, what to scrap for it, and every recipe that uses it. 49 can be bought; 30 are scrap resources other items break down into. Forged Steel goes into the most recipes (162).

Components

Salvaged from cars, machines and junk, and the kits that repair or build gear.

Raw materials

Mined, chopped, dug, picked or butchered — and the forge materials they become.

Processed materials

Made at a station from the raw ones; most can also be looted or bought.

Weapon and tool parts

The loot-only part each crafted gun, melee weapon or tool needs. Scrapping that gear gives the part back.
