The Combine Station is a 7 Days to Die block where you combine tools or weapons to merge their stats into one item; you craft it from your backpack with 50 Iron and 100 Wood, known from the start.

“Combine tools or weapons to merge their stats into one item.” — the game’s description

How the Combine Station works

Its window — "Combine Station" — has two slots, "Item A" and "Item B", and a "Combine" button. These are the rules the station itself shows, word for word:

  1. 1. Start“Select an item to combine”
  2. 2. What can be combined“Combine similar single part items of quality to make a new better item.”
  3. 3. Mods“Remove the mods from one item to combine.”
  4. 4. When it refuses“The combined result is not better than either item.”
  5. 5. Quality cap“Your crafting skill only allows you to improve this item to ….”

The quality cap names your crafting skill — the level a crafting magazine series raises. All 24 crafting magazines and what each unlocks →

How the two items’ stats are merged is decided in the game’s code, not in its data files, so it is not described here.

Repairing at the Combine Station: the "Repair Method" option

Whether the station also repairs is a world setting. The game describes it as: "Determines how items are repaired."
