The rules the calculator follows

  • 1 skill point per player level, up to level 300.
  • An attribute starts at 1 and goes to 10; the points per level are 2: 1, 3: 1, 4: 1, 5: 1, 6: 2, 7: 2, 8: 2, 9: 3, 10: 3 (the same for all five).
  • A perk rank costs 1 point and needs its attribute at the level written on the rank.
  • Skill books and crafting magazines add bonuses without spending points: see the books and magazines.

Rank texts are the game's own. Which perks are worth taking is not in the files, so the calculator does not rank them; see the ranked guides for weapons and armor.

7 Days to Die perk calculator — FAQ

How many skill points do you get in 7 Days to Die?
1 per player level, up to level 300. The calculator's level slider turns a level into points; the world options StarterSkillPoints and SkillPointsPerLevel can change the numbers.
What does it cost to max everything?
80 points for the 5 attributes (level 1 to 10) and 250 for every rank of the 50 perks here: 330 in all.
Why can't I raise a perk rank?
Each rank needs its attribute at a set level, written on the rank (for example Archery rank 1 needs Agility 1, its last rank Agility 10). Raise the attribute first, or press Max on the perk. A rank also stops where the points run out.
Which perks are not in the calculator?
Seven general perks (Light, Medium and Heavy Armor, Master Chef, Living off the Land, Lock Picking and Lucky Looter) are listed in the files without an attribute level, so the calculator leaves them out; they are not on the skill tree pages either.
