    Nerd Outfit

    Armor 18 → 21

    Your lack of fashion sense gives you the ability to focus on your inventions. Adds a chance to gain two crafting skill points when reading magazines.

  • Hands

    Nerd Gloves

    Armor 18 → 21

    Protect those cold clammy soft hands from the elements and become an intellectual badass. Deal more damage with intellect based weapons.

  • Feet

    Nerd Boots

    Armor 18 → 21

    Protection with a spring in your step. Reduces fall damage.

Where to get it

You get Nerd armor by crafting it at the Workbench, looting 20 kinds of container and buying it from traders. The recipes unlock at Armor level 11, raised by reading Armored Up; crafted quality goes up at levels 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100.

Every piece can drop from 20 kinds of container — the same ones as all other armor, listed on the armor page.

Wearing all four pieces: Tools and Weapons degrade 10% slower. at quality 1, rising to Tools and Weapons degrade 35% slower. at quality 6. The bonus follows the lowest-quality piece you wear.
