Enshrouded Skill Tree Planner

Pick skills across the three trees — Mage (magic), Ranger (ranged and survival) and Warrior (melee) — plus the Core skills at the hub that every build can reach. The URL updates as you go: copy it to share your build, paste it into Discord or Reddit, or bookmark it for respec day. All 161 skills with the in-game unlock cost.

Two things are called Survivor. The Survivor branch sits inside the Ranger tree — Endurance, Double Jump, Dessert Stomach and the rest of the stamina-and-food line. The Survivortab below is this planner’s name for the Core hub: Well Rested, Miner, Mason, Quality Gear and the other nodes any build can take. Build guides that say “Survivor” almost always mean the branch.

Skill tree FAQ

What is the best build in the Enshrouded skill tree?
There's no single best build — Enshrouded splits 161 skills across 4 base archetypes (Mage, Ranger, Survivor, Warrior) and your weapon choice + co-op role drive the call. Curated preset builds live at /enshrouded/builds; cycle through 13 hand-tested setups for solo and co-op play.
What are the different Skill Trees in Enshrouded?
Three — Ranger (ranged and survival), Mage (magic) and Warrior (melee) — around a shared hub of 13 Core skills every build can reach. Twelve branches run across them: Assassin / Beastmaster / Ranger / Survivor on the Ranger side, Trickster / Wizard / Healer / Battlemage on the Mage side, Tank / Warrior / Barbarian / Athlete on the Warrior side. Total 161 skills. Note that Survivor names a BRANCH inside the Ranger tree, not a tree of its own — that is the name build guides mean when they say "take the Survivor line".
What are the core skills in Enshrouded?
The Core hub holds 13 skills at the centre of the tree, reachable from any build without committing to a branch: Well Rested, Backstab Damage, Grounding Hook, Lumberjack, Mason, Merciless Attack, Power Parry, Quality Gear, Saviour, Opportunity, Miner, Fisherman's Resolve, Giant Slayer Hook. They are the gathering, salvage and utility nodes — the ones worth taking early whatever you plan to specialise into.
Can you max out the skill tree in Enshrouded?
No — total skill points available at the level cap sit around 80, while fully unlocking every node would cost 500 points. You're meant to specialise into one archetype + maybe touch a second. Respec at the Flame Altar is cheap, so experimenting is encouraged.
How to get skill points fast in Enshrouded?
Skill points come from level-ups. Fast-XP routes: clear Shroud Roots (high XP per kill plus crafting drops), do Hollow Halls runs at your level (boss + interior mob bonuses), and complete Side Quests in the biome you're farming. Avoid grinding mobs below your level — XP scaling falls off.
Can you respec in Enshrouded?
Yes — reset at the Flame Altar in your base by choosing Reset Skill Points. It costs Runes, the currency you get from salvaging blue-or-better gear and from enemies inside the Shroud — there is no consumable to craft or carry. No level penalty, no cooldown, no limit. Every spent point comes back at once — attribute pips included.
What's the best class to start with in Enshrouded?
Ranger is the safest first archetype — bows let you kite while you learn enemy patterns, the Survivor sub-tree boosts stamina, and the bow line scales smoothly into mid-game. Mage opens later when you've collected enough Spellbook drops. Warrior + Survivor are also strong starts depending on your weapon preference.
