Kenshi — the complete reference

Kenshi is a free-roaming, squad-based RPG by Lo-Fi Games set on a vast, lawless desert continent. There are no classes and no story rails — you build your own tale across cities, forts, ancient labs and ruins. Pindrop's Kenshi tools cover the three things players reach for most: where everything is, what to research, and which race to play.

The world map

The interactive map pins 304 locations across 9 categories — towns, villages, outposts, ruins, points of interest, military bases, prisons, slave camps and nests — with faction control, biome shading, search and a found-tracking checklist. Search a faction like Shek Kingdom to see every settlement it holds.

Research & technology

Base-building runs on research. The tech-tree planner maps all 195 technologies across 8 branches, shows every prerequisite chain, and totals the exact Books, Ancient Science Books, Engineering Research and AI Cores you need for any set of targets.

Races & recruits

Your race shapes your run. The race comparison ranks all 9 playable races — Greenlander, Scorchlander, Shek, three Hive castes and three Skeleton types — across 43 stats, and recommends the best race for your playstyle. Each race page shows where to find and recruit that people on the map.
