How bounty hunting works
Each bounty target has a fixed level (visible in the marker name — e.g. "Lv. 10", "Lv. 15"). Defeat them and you collect Bounty Tokens, which you redeem at Bounty Intel Dealer NPCs in named settlements for exclusive gear, accessories, and schematics not available elsewhere. Bounties respawn on a long real-time cycle, but the token reward only drops on the first kill per cycle — same-day re-kills don't pay out again.

Strategy tips
- The marker name carries the bounty's level — scan the All locations list below to find the right difficulty for your team.
- Bring an AR or shotgun in addition to Pals — bounty targets are human, so firearms outperform melee.
- Save Bounty Tokens for the exclusive gear at Bounty Intel Dealers — don't waste them on consumables.
- Lower-level bounties are concentrated in the mainland; DLC zones host higher-level targets with better token payouts.
Frequently asked
- How do bounties work in Palworld?
- Each bounty target is a named PIDF wanted-list humanoid patrolling a fixed location. Defeat them in combat to earn Bounty Tokens, which you redeem at Bounty Intel Dealers in named settlements (Fisherman's Point, Small Settlement) for exclusive gear and schematics not sold elsewhere.
- How many bounty targets are in Palworld?
- 32 mapped bounty target locations. Each carries a level in the marker name (e.g. "Bounty Target — Scoot (Lv. 10)"). Scan the All locations list above to match a bounty to your team's level.
- Do bounty targets respawn?
- Yes — on a long real-time cycle. The Bounty Token reward only drops on the first kill per cycle, so re-killing the same target within the cooldown gives nothing useful.
- What can you buy with Bounty Tokens in Palworld?
- Bounty Intel Dealers stock exclusive gear, accessories, and schematics that aren't sold by any other merchant. Save your tokens for the rarer items rather than spending them on materials you can craft or farm cheaper.
