How Fast Travel works
Each statue you walk near unlocks permanently as a teleport destination. Open the map, click any unlocked statue, and pay the tiny travel-cost to instantly teleport there. Most statues require nothing more than physical proximity — no fight, no item. The 7 Tower Entrance statues require defeating the tower's faction boss to unlock; the 7 Sealed Realm statues require clearing the realm's boss. Once unlocked, the statue stays unlocked across deaths and save reloads.

Strategy tips
- Prioritise unlocking statues in regions you'll re-visit — the cost of walking back to a region without a statue compounds over a long playthrough.
- Plateau of Beginnings (Windswept Hills) is the default spawn statue — every new save starts within walking distance.
- Tower entrance statues stay locked until you defeat the tower's faction boss. Sealed Realm statues stay locked until you clear the realm.
- Carrying weight matters for fast travel — overburdened characters can't teleport, so drop excess loot at a base before fast-travel hopping.
Frequently asked
- How many Fast Travel statues are in Palworld?
- 69 mapped Great Eagle statues across Palpagos and the DLC regions. Most unlock by simply walking near them; 7 Tower Entrance statues and 7 Sealed Realm statues require defeating the local boss first.
- How do you unlock Fast Travel in Palworld?
- For most statues: walk close enough to the marker and the unlock prompt fires automatically. For Tower Entrance statues: defeat the tower's faction boss. For Sealed Realm statues: defeat the realm's boss Pal. Once unlocked, statues stay unlocked across deaths and reloads.
- Where is the first Fast Travel statue in Palworld?
- Plateau of Beginnings in the Windswept Hills — the default spawn statue. Every new save starts within walking distance, so it's the first one every player unlocks.
- Does Fast Travel cost anything in Palworld?
- Travel has a small in-game cost (sometimes a brief loading screen, sometimes a stamina or carry-weight gate) but no Gold or item cost. Overburdened characters can't fast-travel — drop excess loot at a base before hopping.
- Best Fast Travel statue layout for a Palworld base?
- Place bases adjacent to statues in regions you farm — Plateau of Beginnings for early game, then statues near coal/ore nodes for mid-game (Twilight Dunes), then near endgame regions (Mt. Obsidian, Feybreak) for late-game. Each base benefits from a fast-travel statue within walking distance.
