Super Alloy Location in The Planet Crafter (Map)

989 Super Alloy pins in all, on 4 of the 5 planets. Selenea has none. Each link opens that planet's map with only this layer switched on.

The game files give coordinates but no biome or area names for ore, so I cut each planet's map picture into nine equal parts (north-west to south-east, north at the top) and counted the pins in each. The parts are my grid, not names from the game. The last column is the middle of the pins in a planet's busiest part, in the world units the map popups show.

The picture is lopsided: Humble's busiest part (north) holds 139 of its 368 pins, and Toxicity's busiest part (north) holds 127 of 277.

Every Super Alloy pin in the files reads "Mining speed x1.0", the same as every other ore pin, so no pin is slower or faster to mine than another. Go to a pin and mine it. 12 of the 989 pins are marked as spawn points instead: 12 on Humble read "spawns here with 60 % chance". I read that as a pin which may be empty in a given save, so count on the others first.

The ore extractor is the other way in: the game's text for the T2 Ore Extractor reads "Extracts rarer ores from the ground", and the T1 reads "Extracts ores from the ground depending on where it's placed". The files do not list which ore each tier gives; the ore extractor guide has what they do state.

The map also has a separate Veins layer with 3 "Super Alloy vein" pins (Prime 1, Humble 1, Toxicity 1): Super Alloy vein layer. The files do not say how a vein differs from an ore pin, so I keep the two apart.

Super Alloy is the one ore on this list you can also craft. The recipe is 1 Cobalt, 1 Iron, 1 Magnesium, 1 Silicon, 1 Titanium, 1 Aluminum at Station T3. If the six metals are easier to reach than a Super Alloy pin, that is the other way in.

It also packs into the Super Alloy Rod: 8 Super Alloy, 1 Aluminum. The map has 23 loose rods (Aqualis 16, Humble 6, Toxicity 1): open that layer.
