My Summer Car Rally: Entry, Prizes and Car Prep

Game files, build v.231210-015 min read

Register at the rally start with 500 MK (Junior) or 1,000 MK (Amateur). The form refuses until you wear a helmet and the car is inspected, has a harness, roll cage, fire extinguisher and acceptable tyres. Gold pays 2,500 MK in Junior and 8,000 MK in Amateur, decided on your two-day total.

The rally runs over a weekend with a Saturday and a Sunday stage. Almost everything the game says about it sits in the registration forms and the result script, so this guide goes in the order you meet them: choose the class, equip the car, buy spares, register, drive, get paid.

The 6 steps at a glance

Every sum and rule is read from the rally scripts of build v.231210-01.

  1. Know the two classes. Entry, prizes and class points.
  2. Equip the car and yourself. Seven checks on the form.
  3. Buy spare engine parts from the salesman. Cheaper than Fleetari.
  4. Register. Saturday start, fee once.
  5. Drive both stages. Opponent times and penalties.
  6. Collect the prize. After the Sunday stage.

Step 1: Know the two classes

There are two entries. Junior costs 500 MK and pays 2,500 MK for first, 1,750 MK for second and 1,000 MK for third. Amateur costs 1,000 MK and pays 8,000 MK, 5,000 MK and 3,000 MK. You do not choose: the form compares your class points with 10 and shows Amateur once you reach them, Junior until then.

Points start at 1 (the result sheet reads "Junior Cup - Class points 1/10"). After a Junior result the script adds 1 point, and a medal adds more: 4 for gold, 2 for silver, 1 for bronze. By that arithmetic two Junior golds take you from 1 past 10. Net of the entry, a Junior gold is 2,000 MK and an Amateur gold 7,000 MK.

Which prize is which

The prize variables are named Gold, Silver, Bronze and Gold 2, Silver 2, Bronze 2. The script pays the first set on the Junior branch and the "2" set on the Amateur branch; we read that from the wiring, we did not play it through.

Step 2: Equip the car and yourself

Pressing the confirm button on the form runs seven checks and stops at the first problem, with a message. The messages and what they mean:

The form saysWhat it wantsWhere the files put it
"You are required to wear a crash helmet."A crash helmet on your headA helmet lies in the home yard at x -11, z 14 at the start
"Your car needs to be inspected and registered."An inspected carInspection: 325 MK
"Your car is missing required safety gear."Racing harness, roll cage, fire extinguisher, tyresHarness 645 MK on the Racing page of Jokke's magazine; extinguisher 249 MK at Teimo's
"You are drunk. Go home."Be soberThe form refuses above a drunk value of 1
"No money, no rally participation for you."500 MK or 1,000 MK in cashThe entry for your class

Gaps in the files

The roll cage, the extinguisher holder and the helmet are in the parts database, but we found no price or shop for the cage or the holder. The tyre check rejects tyre types 0 and 4 and the files do not name them. Jokke's magazine also sells a rally steering wheel, rally wheelset and rally suspension kit; the form does not ask for them.

Step 3: Buy spare engine parts from the salesman

The rally parts salesman sells 12 engine parts, all of which Fleetari also sells for more. Buying all 12 from him instead of Fleetari saves 2,734 MK. The five biggest differences:

Step 4: Register

Walk up to the form at the Saturday start (it only responds close up; the script uses 20 units). Confirm, and 500 MK or 1,000 MK is subtracted. The Sunday start has its own form, but on the second day the script goes straight past the money check, so the fee is paid once. Both forms are on the jobs layer.

Step 5: Drive both stages

The result script draws each opponent's time at random. On the first day between 325–460 seconds (5:25 to 7:40), on the second between 355–390 seconds (5:55 to 6:30). Opponent totals therefore fall between 11:20 and 14:10. Your two-day total plus penalties is ranked against them, and a medal needs a top-three total.

The result sheet lists the penalties it counts: jump starts, Parc Ferme violations and a time penalty. The Parc Ferme penalty is 60 seconds each, added to your time.

Step 6: Collect the prize

The medals are decided after the second day. The script puts the prize sum on a PayMoney object at the Sunday finish area, so that is where you collect it. An Amateur gold also makes Fleetari phone you ("You are rally winner").

Common mistakes

  • Registering with the helmet in your hands. The check wants it worn.
  • Registering drunk. The form refuses when your drunk value is above 1.
  • Skipping the inspection. The form needs the car inspected; the station is closed at weekends, the rally days, so do it first.
  • Buying engine spares at Fleetari. The same parts cost 2,734 MK less from the rally salesman.

About these numbers

These are the start-of-game values in the files of build v.231210-01 (10 Dec 2023). Steam's latest build is v.250908-01 (8 Sep 2025), and its notes say some store prices keep rising as adverts are delivered, so prices and pay in the current game may differ.

Prize sums, entry fees and the opponent time ranges are values in the rally scripts; the prize-to-class mapping and class-point arithmetic are our reading of them.
