Endgame burst rotation. Voidcaller + Archmage Set + CDR gems — Abyss lands twice per fight for the Veilwater Basin push.

Playstyle

Opener

Cast Bloodletting on the highest-HP target to mark it. Trades a slice of your HP for a damage-amp — this sets up the burst rotation.

Main rotation

Dark Arts tap → stack 3 ticks → Abyss for the burst spike → Bloodletting refresh. Terror is the panic release, not a rotation piece.

Positioning

Behind the tank at max range. The build folds to a single melee hit — treat every gap-closer as a wipe threat and pre-cast Terror before the pull.

Cooldown usage

Terror is the ONLY escape kit. Save it for below-30% HP or a boss telegraph. Life Essences pulls a small heal on enemy deaths — trash-clear pace matters for sustain.

Boss phase

Pre-buff with Algae Salad + Chamomile Tea. Bloodletting on pull → Dark Arts stack ×3 → Abyss burst → Terror when the boss telegraphs a heavy → repeat rotation.

Is Necromancer good for solo play?
Risky — the build is designed around having a tank or healer to absorb mistakes. Solo it works for trash clearing but bosses are punishing.
Best weapon for Necromancer?
Dark-element staff with cast-speed mods. Cast speed matters more than raw damage because Dark Arts stacks proc on hit count.
When does Necromancer come online?
Level 30, Flame 7. Earlier you'll get more out of Fire Mage Starter; respec when Abyss unlocks.
