Enshrouded Bosses
11 bosses across Embervale, grouped by faction. Each detail page ships the 8-axis damage resistance chart, recommended weapon families, builds tuned to the effective damage type, and a deep-link into the biome map.
What are bosses in Enshrouded?
Bosses in Enshrouded are scripted mini-boss + world-boss encounters gated by biome difficulty. They sit one tier above the standard patrol enemies in each region — larger health pools, distinct attack patterns, and a damage-resistance chart that punishes one-trick-pony builds. Most bosses live inside Hollow Halls dungeons; a handful spawn as open-world patrol encounters that re-trigger on a respawn cycle.
Mechanically every documented boss carries an 8-axis resistance profile across Cutting, Piercing, Blunt, Poison, Fire, Ice, Shroud, and Shock damage. Each axis is marked Effective (extra damage taken), Neutral (baseline), or Resisted (reduced damage). Matching your weapon family to the Effective axis is the single biggest decision in a boss fight — mismatched damage can turn a 90-second clear into a 5-minute slog. Per-boss pages render the full chart plus the matching weapon family + preset build recommendations.

Boss FAQ
How many bosses are in Enshrouded?
Enshrouded has 11 documented bosses across 5 factions: Fell (7), Cyclops, Hollow, Scavenger, and Vukah. An additional endgame boss, Hydrak'Dal, was added in the Veilwater Basin update — full stats are still pending wiki documentation. Each documented boss has a damage-resistance chart spanning Cutting, Piercing, Blunt, Poison, Fire, Ice, Shroud, and Shock damage types.
What is the final boss in Enshrouded?
Hydrak'Dal in the Veilwater Basin is treated by the community as the final boss in the suggested progression order. Stats and resistance data are still being documented on the wiki. Among the 11 fully-documented bosses, Fell Dragon Youngling in Albaneve Summits (level 25-35) sit at the top of the difficulty curve.
What order should I fight Enshrouded bosses in?
Follow the biome progression — Springlands (level 1-10) → Revelwood (10-20) → Nomad Highlands (15-25) → Kindlewastes (20-30) → Albaneve Summits (25-35) → Veilwater Basin (30-40+). Boss encounters are gated by region difficulty, not by character level alone. The Difficulty Matrix on this page lists every boss with its biome and recommended level band so you can plan the run.
How do I beat the hardest Enshrouded bosses?
Match your damage type to the boss's resistance chart — every boss takes Effective / Neutral / Resisted damage on 8 damage axes (Cutting, Piercing, Blunt, Poison, Fire, Ice, Shroud, Shock). Bring weapons in the matching family, drop resisted damage types from your primary slot, and run a build tuned for the effective damage type. Each per-boss page ships the chart plus a recommended loadout.
Can you re-fight bosses in Enshrouded?
Yes — bosses respawn after a patrol cooldown on the standard world reset cycle. They are not gated by quest progress, so you can grind a boss for trophy drops, materials, or build practice. Some Hollow Halls bosses respawn faster than open-world encounters; check the in-game world cycle indicator for exact times.
What are the Fell bosses in Enshrouded?
The Fell are corrupted, Shroud-warped variants of Embervale's wildlife and guardians — currently 7 documented Fell bosses including Fell Thunderbrute, Fell Wispwyvern, Fell Critter Queen, Fell Sicklescythe, Fell Cyclops, Fell Monstrosity, and Fell Dragon Youngling. They share a late-game damage profile that resists Shroud-type damage and rewards the highest-tier weapons. See the Fell faction page for the full set and shared resistance patterns.
