Enshrouded Scavenger Bosses
Bandit-faction matrons and lieutenants — humanoid encounters with conventional resistance profiles. Cutting and piercing damage carry; bring a sword-and-board if you want to face-tank them.
The Scavenger faction in Enshrouded
The Scavenger faction is the bandit lineage — humanoid encounters with conventional weapons, armour, and behavior patterns that mirror player kits. The Scavenger Matron is the documented faction lead on the wiki, encountered in mid-game biomes as a Hollow Halls boss with a melee-focused damage profile. Mechanically, Scavenger encounters are the most player-like fights in the game: they parry, they dodge, they kite when low. That makes Cutting and Piercing damage the natural primaries — conventional weapons against conventional enemies. The Matron's resistance chart marks Cutting and Piercing as Effective, with Blunt as Resisted, so leave the hammers at home and bring a greatsword or bow. Scavenger encounters are also among the safer farms for sword + shield Tank builds — you can face-tank the matron through the parry-counter-parry rhythm without the windups landing for fatal damage. In co-op, the Scavenger encounters work as a teaching fight: they punish mispositioning the way other players would, so they're useful for practicing rotation timing before the bigger Fell-set arenas. The Scavenger Matron also drops trophy materials that feed into mid-tier armour upgrades, making the farm worthwhile beyond the encounter itself. Expect more Scavenger bosses to be added in future content patches.
