How the numbers are made

Every recipe is one row of the game's tech table: the item, each ingredient with its amount and, where the table sets one, how many items a craft makes. The calculator expands the item you pick down to things the game does not craft. An ingredient needed by several parts of the build is added up first and then crafted in whole crafts, so the spare ones are shown. Titanium, for example, is crafted from Metal salvage, so Metal salvage is the raw material.

Raw materials that the game rolls at random for each new game link to the resource finder and to their chance layer on the map. A recipe is no use before you own its blueprint: the checklist lists the data boxes and fixed fragments that unlock them.

Game files: Steam build 20241558 (3 Oct 2025). Stations and menu tabs are the ones in the game's crafting menus. Left out: 29 table rows with no station and no build flag in the files (among them the Neptune rocket parts, whose menu did not parse, and items missing from every menu such as the Hardened blade and Transfuser), 13 community tribute items (hull plates, dolls) and 3 rows the game itself names Deprecated or Dev test item.
