Survivor is Enshrouded's "everything else" archetype — base-building, stamina sustain, gathering bonuses, food-buff scaling. It rarely runs as a primary combat class, but every successful late-game character dips 5-15 points into Survivor for Stamina Cap + Double Jump.

Miner + Mason online. Trailblazer's carry-weight bonus pays back your first Nomad Highlands ore run.

Best in slot

Flame 4-5 · Lv 25-40

Fisherman's Resolve caps the engine. Fur Armor Set opens Albaneve mining loops without cold-damage tax.

Playstyle

Opener

Plot a fixed circuit between resource clusters near your base. Start at the closest oak grove — Lumberjack triples wood yield per swing, so a single tree is a 30-log payday.

Main rotation

Wood → ore → stone → fish. Rotate clusters instead of grinding one; respawn timers stagger and Quality Gear stretches durability across all three tools.

Positioning

Stay within 60 seconds of your Flame Altar or Spire. Fast-travel covers the return haul — carry-weight food + Trailblazer's Set makes every trip worth it.

Cooldown usage

Well Rested only triggers after a sleep at the Flame Altar; make a bed. Fisherman's Resolve is passive — just leave a rod at your dock.

Boss phase

Don't. Respec before any boss attempt — 3 scrolls flips the Crafter into Sword & Board or Ranger Sniper for the fight, then flip back.

Crafter Survivor — the base-building specialist

If you're the co-op group's base-builder, this is your build. Skill priorities: Stamina Cap (lets you swing tools longer), Double Jump (vertical traversal for build placement), Gathering Bonuses (faster material accumulation), Food Buff Duration (extends every consumable).

The Crafter doesn't carry in combat — pair with Ranger or Warrior co-op partners. Solo play with this build means avoiding boss fights and focusing on world map / base / crafting goals.

Survivor as a survivability dip (for other archetypes)

Ranger Sniper + 8 points Survivor. Stamina Cap line keeps you kiting through long fights. Bow builds are stamina-hungry — Survivor's stamina-regen passives close the gap.

Berserker Barbarian + 12 points Survivor. Greatsword + hammer builds bleed stamina; without the Survivor dip you'll run out of swings mid-Hollow Halls clear.

Sword & Board Tank + 5 points Survivor. Block-and-parry rhythms need stamina sustain too — even tank builds benefit from the basic Survivor stamina dips.

Athlete sub-archetype — mobility focus

Survivor's Athlete sub-tree adds Double Jump, Updraft, and movement-speed passives — useful for both base-building (vertical placement) and combat (gap-close + disengage). Often dipped by Assassin builds for the Updraft synergy.

Athlete-leaning Survivor builds work well in Albaneve Summits + Veilwater Basin where vertical traversal matters most.

Weapon + armor recommendations

Survivor is weapon-agnostic — pair with your matched archetype. Crafter Survivors usually run Bow (DEX) or 1H Sword + Shield (STR/CON) for self-defence.

Armor: Adventurer Set (early game) → Ranged Armor (DEX builds) or Melee Armor (STR builds). Magic Armor is rare for Survivor since the archetype doesn't scale spell damage.

Co-op role

Crafter Survivor is the dedicated base-keeper in co-op groups of 3-4 — manages workbenches, food production, base defence, and material runs while combat archetypes handle Hollow Halls + boss encounters.
